Romain Lemaire
Romain Lemaire advises and represents small and medium-sized businesses, public entities, individuals and associations in courts.
Romain Lemaire is an associate lawyer and works mainly under the supervision of François Braud.
In March 2012, he joined ATMOS Avocats (formerly known as Selarl Huglo Lepage et Associés until December 31, 2017).
His leading practice is devoted to urban planning law (planning, land use permits, regional development) and environmental law (ICPE/environmental permits, energy, waste, quarries, nature protection, risk prevention plans, etc.).
He is also involved in the judicial aspects (civil and criminal) of environmental, real estate and urban planning law (judicial expertise, preventive summary proceedings, liability and neighbourhood disturbances, criminal defence).
Romain Lemaire handles a wide variety of cases, as do the firm's clients, including companies and various economic players, local authorities, individuals and associations.
These interventions, therefore, include legal advice, through support for administrative decisions (municipalities, EPCI), the implementation and securing of industrial, economic development or planning projects, as well as the evaluation of legal risks and the opportunity of operations or projects (audit, feasibility study, legal consultations).
A significant part of his mission is devoted to administrative and civil litigation, both with claimants and in the implementation of the defence, before all the French Courts and Tribunals (petition, appeal for excess of power, full litigation, summary proceedings, summons, etc.).
These missions cover all aspects of the litigation and pre-litigation treatment of the cases entrusted to us, including the development of litigation strategies, the search for amicable solutions, the referral of cases to the courts, the drafting of pleadings and representation before the courts and in court expertise.
He also regularly speaks at training sessions on environmental law (Paris Bar School) and urban planning law (ELEGIA).
